About Resort

The resort is located in Lower Chibbo, a beautiful village 3 km outside Kalimpong below Durpin. All cottages have a great view of the snow covered peak of Himalaya.
Himalayan Eagle Resort is first with sauna in Kalimpong. Within a soon future we will have Jacuzzi as well.

The resort is surrounded by paddy fields and forest. You can get the “touch” of the laid-back, relaxed village life in this place. To sit on the veranda outside your cottage and look out over the mountain In Sikkim and Darjeeling gives peace to your mind and soul. The restaurant serves you a wide variety cuisine.  Our specialties are barbeque and smoked delicatessen from our own smoke oven

In the evening you can have the experience of relaxing in a hot sauna. After the sauna you can sit outside cooling down under a sky of stars. The lights from the villages on the opposite mountain side in Sikkim looks like stars as well and make the experience magic.

All cottages are specious and cozy designed with wooden floor and ceiling. Bathroom with high standard, tails on floor and walls, cold and hot water in shower and basin. With chairs, table and viewover the snow covered peaks
Some of the cottages are built in two levels. So the bedroom and bathroom are in an upper level. It gives the room a cozy feeling.
